Farah earned her Masters’ degree from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, specializing in treating trauma survivors and individuals effected by adverse childhood experiences.
As the multicultural chair of the Northern Virginia Licences Counselors and an immigrant herself; Farah is extremely passionate about helping immigrants and first-generation Americans thrive and find strength in their bicultural identity. She is fluent in both Arabic and English.
Farah worked at Artemis House (a domestic violence shelter) for two years facilitating group therapy sessions for victims of domestic violence and their children.
Furthermore, has extensive training in addiction treatments as she worked in a substance abuse treatment center where she was leading the Intensive Outpatient Program’s groups.
